Vegan Tapas Night

On Saturday 25th November join us for a night of vegan tapas and desserts from Jos Fletcher and live Flamenco guitar from Kostka Garcia. Jos’ delicious tapas dishes have been a massive hit whenever they are offered. Places are limited and it’s booking only. There will also be vegan wine from When in Rome and vegan beer and lager from Stroud Brewery. Tickets are £5 per person and this includes a welcome drink – one of our hedgerow cocktails or a soft drink. Dishes are £3 to £5 and we suggest 3 or 4 per person. We recommend ordering a few dishes at a time and spreading your meal throughout the evening!

The menu includes:

Farinata de Patata – chickpea flour spanish “omelette” with bravas sauce and harissa mayo

Setas – oyster mushrooms marinated in garlic, lemon and parsley, grilled and served on pickled brown lentils

Orange, Black Olive, Chicory and Walnut Salad

Patatas al a Pobre – potatoes sautéed with green pepper, onion and sweet paprika served with harissa mayo

Qubrisia – aubergine, pomegranate molasses and mint

Butterbeans in White Wine, Mint and Thyme

Spicy Almonds

We’ll also have vegan desserts on offer!

Doors from 6:30pm and food will be served until 9pm. Please book as many tickets as required for your table. Please note that smaller bookings may share tables. For larger groups if you can call or email with an approximate arrival time that would be very helpful! If you’d rather book in person then please come to the café during normal opening hours, or give us a call on 01453 860420 if you have any questions. Tickets are refundable if you cancel at least 3 days before the event and we are able to rebook the tickets.
