Picnic area & facilities

There are two main picnic areas complete with robust picnic tables and splendid views across the valleys. Initially, visitors will be invited to bring their own lunches, although in time it is anticipated that picnic items will be available from the centre’s own kitchen. Composting and recycling areas will be designated for appropriate waste.

Temporary toilet facilities, including those for disabled visitors, will be available until the main toilet block is constructed. This will be connected to a reed bed sewage system and the toilets will use harvested rainwater for flushing. In addition, there will be a number of soil toilets available at discreet points around the trails.
