Staying at Thistledown as a Group

Groups are welcome at Thistledown, but please bear in mind that this is a family orientated campsite. We are happy to accept groups that will be respectful towards other campers, as well as our rules and ethos. Many of our campers come to stargaze, watch wildlife and enjoy the tranquil surroundings – not to listen to music and shouting! Please read our camping rules below, and if you feel that you may not be able to adhere to them then we suggest that you make arrangements with a more suitable campsite:

• We do not allow any amplified music, including mobile phones

• Noise must be kept to a minimum after dusk

• Wood is available during the wood delivery – ensure that you buy enough and do not collect any from the woodland

• You may have up to 5 day visitors during your stay (£4 per adult, £2 per child) – they must leave the site by 10pm

• You must keep your pitches clean during your stay and ensure that you collect all litter before leaving

• If the members of your group are under the age of 20 please email us with your details prior to booking

• If your group is found to have contravened our rules then you will be asked to leave without a refund
